This Colt Government Model from the TALO-exclusive Engraver Series pays tribute to the legendary 19th-century master engraver Gustave Young. Finished in striking black with detailed silver-plated scrollwork, this full-size 1911 blends classic American artistry with modern performance. The slide features a full-coverage facsimile of Young’s scroll engraving style, uninterrupted by model markings, which have been relocated to the dust cover to preserve the aesthetic.

Fitted with a polished hammer, magazine release, and barrel bushing, the pistol also includes a short trigger, narrow combat hammer, arched mainspring housing, and upgraded scroll-incised grips. A spare set of truncated diamond grips is included. Housed in its original Colt blue box with matching end label, TALO documentation, and paperwork, this pistol is as much a showpiece as it is a shooter.
